Description
Theaflavins, a golden color found in black tea, are the product of tea fermentation. In biochemistry, tea yellow pigment is a class of polyphenol hydroxyl benzophenol ketone structure substances, is the first compound found from tea has a definite pharmacological effect. Theaflavins accounts for 0.5% to 2% of the weight of dry tea, and depends on how the black tea is processed. Theaflavins plays a role in the bright color and strong taste of tea soup, and is an important quality indicator of black tea.
Theaflavins have pharmacological effects such as anti-oxidation, regulating blood lipids, lowering blood sugar, anti-virus, anti-inflammation, lowering uric acid, antibacterial and anti-osteoporosis. They are widely used in the development of health food, medicine, cosmetics, animal feed, plant pesticides and other end products.
Function:
1. Antioxidant
2. Protect eyesight:Theaflavins can improve the nutrition of the retina, help protect vision, and can also relieve discomfort symptoms such as dry eyes and fatigue.
3. Improve skin condition:Theaflavins have certain antioxidant effects, can inhibit lipid peroxidation, help maintain skin moisture, thereby improving skin condition.
4. Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory
5. Controls weight and may even help combat obesity
6. Lowering blood sugar
