Description
Motherwort extract is derived from the plant Leonurus japonicus Houtt. in the family Labiatae. Its main active ingredients include epsilonine and hydrastine.
Modern medical research shows that motherwort extract has a variety of pharmacological effects. First, it has obvious excitatory effect on the uterus, which can enhance the amplitude and rhythm of uterine contractions.
